As we enter uncertain times amid the covid-19 outbreak our thoughts will turn to our loved ones and those in our community, keeping them safe and well for the future.
One of the many positive responses to the outbreak has been the wave of rainbow pictures appearing across the country in people's doors and windows, helping to raise a smile, even for a moment.
Kelly Garrick, our community engagement officer, contacted the local primary schools, asked them to get involved and just before the the restrictions on unnecessary travel collected many beautiful and colourful paintings and sketches to put into the windows of the Fleetwood hospital building.
Kelly says, "My own favourite is this one, from a very wise child, it really touched my heart.
“Everything will be A ok” and the comment “We will get through this together so don’t worry”
Wise indeed.
